How do you Receive your Donations WITHOUT a Donation Depot in Town?
We are currently looking for a new Donation Depot. It will be a local business who can handle traffic coming into their location to pick up donations once they have arrived. Please check back here for updates, we will keep you posted, we once again want to find a sponsor/advertiser who will be able to help all the nonprofits in our community by providing free shipping.
Until we find a sponsor for shipping we have no other option but to ask the recipients of the gift certificate donations to pay for the shipping and handling. The following pages provide the cost and links to a Paypal site operated by eMerging Marketing Concepts, the parent company of SantaFeDonations.com. Shipping is a minimal cost, it is not our intention to include revenue for shipping as a success factor in this business model.
In order to keep the shipping costs as low as possible, the cost is based on weight, so we will EMAIL you a PDF file of the display materials for each donation which is 8.5×11″ and the addresses of the donors to send your thank you notes. The gift certificates will come to you in a No. 10 envelope, unlike previous years when we provided the display materials that were also handed out at the Donation Depot. We are doing this to try to keep the weight and the costs down for our local charitable organizations.
