What is a Donation Depot?
A Donation Depot (DD) is a philanthropic business with a central location where you can pick up your donations. The work collaboratively with SantaFeDonations.com to receive shipments of donations. Once the donations have arrived at the Depot the nonprofit organization gets an email notification telling them that their donations are ready for pick up. For the first three years this was the only option available making the donation service entirely free for nonprofit organizations. The business who is handing out the donations pays an advertising fee for exposure on the site, in the community, and through significant email exposure, highlighting their branding and their contribution in the community.
Recently, nonprofits have been able to pay a flat rate for shipping to have their donations shipped directly to their location. This has happened as a result of losing our affiliation with our previous Donation Depot, Chalmers Capitol Ford Lincoln in the Santa Fe Auto Park.

We are currently looking for more local businesses to support free shipping of donations. There are many opportunities, from advertising on the back of gift certificates, website advertising, email support, and being a donation depot, with or without exclusivity.
